Meet Our Wonderful Officers!

President
Natalie Gramer

My name is Natalie and I'm a senior at MSU working on two degrees: a B.S. in Aviation and Aerospace Science with a concentration in Professional Flight Officer and a B.A. in English with a concentration in Writing. I'm instrument rated, currently working on my commercial license! My father and godfather were pilots, and my grandmother wanted to be a WASP at the age of 16, so you could say the itch to defy gravity runs in my veins. I have a deep-rooted passion for aviation that propels me to be better; a better student, a better woman, a better friend, a better daughter. I believe passion speaks volumes about a person but the way we pursue that passion reveals much more about our character. I take pride in my country, in my love for learning, and in my willingness to lend a hand. I want to fly for the airlines one day but can't wait to be an instructor myself! My goal in life reaches farther than simply becoming a pilot; I want to be an image of encouragement and inspiration for future generations.

Vice President
Danielle Carroll

My name is Danielle Carroll, and I am a junior at MSU Denver majoring in Aviation and Aerospace Management with a minor in Management. I grew up in a family surrounded by aviation from my helicopter pilot grandfather to my United pilot father and GA pilot (though hopefully United in a couple of years) sister. You could say that aviation runs in my blood. Although I do not want to be a pilot, I knew that aviation was the place for me. Someday, I hope to be a navigator in the U.S. Air Force. Outside of aviation, you can catch me at the local record store, adding to my ever-growing collection of vinyl. I want to inspire the next generation of women going through aviation to chase their dreams, whether that be civilian or military, and to not let anyone stand in their way!

Secretary & Social Media
Olivia Yeiser

Hi! My name is Olivia and I’m a Sophomore at MSU Denver pursuing my B.S. in Aviation and Aerospace science with a concentration in Professional Flight Officer. I fly out of Front Range Flight School at the Colorado Air & Space Port in Watkins. I remember when I was a little girl I was always so captivated by all things aviation. I would walk around Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta where I grew up and hope that one day it would be my office. I am extremely humbled and grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community of pilots and women that share the same passion as me. I’m hoping to join the aerobatics team by the end of the year to fulfill the adrenaline junkie in me. I always say, “the sky is not the limit, it’s where we live”. When I’m not flying, I enjoy live music and outdoor sports like skiing and volleyball. I also enjoy spending time with my dog and the people I love the most. Thanks for reading!

Membership & Design Chair
Annie Johanning

My name is Annie Johanning and I am a junior at MSU Denver working towards my B.S. in Aviation and Aerospace Science with a concentration as a Professional Flight Officer. Aviation has always been something I’ve been destined to do; my dad would take me to air shows and to watch planes takeoff from Centennial when I was very young. It was incredibly surreal to one day fly on my own there! I would also carry around a small plane with me everywhere I went as a kid. My uncle is a pilot and he took me flying for the first time in high school and I was immediately hooked! I currently have my PPL and hope to begin working on my instrument rating soon! My career aspiration is to one day fly for a major commercial carrier such as United or American. I also strive to inspire the next generation of female aviators to chase their dreams and be the best and strongest version of themselves! I am extremely grateful and excited to be working with such an amazing, powerful, and inspiring group of women! As a Colorado native, you can catch me hiking, skiing, and enjoying everything beautiful Colorado has to offer when not flying.

Event Coordinator
Margaret Cleary

Hello, my name is Margaret and I am a Junior at MSU Denver with a B.S. in Aviation and Aerospace Science with a concentration in Aerospace Operations and 3 certificates in: Spacecraft Flight Operations, Airport Management, and Space Commercialization. I love skiing, hiking, rock climbing, walking my dogs, and trying any outdoor activity, especially in the mountains. My goal is to obtain all my rotorcraft ratings to become an EMS or medevac pilot; I volunteered in Search and Rescue and found a passion in helping people, so I wanted to combine that with my passion for flying. I would also like to obtain my twin-engine ratings and learn to fly any aircraft given the chance. Looking forward to where my piloting career takes me!

Nina Stewart

Hello! My name is Nina Stewart and I am a Senior at MSU Denver majoring in Aviation and Aerospace Science with a concentration in Professional Flight Officer. At MSU Denver I am the Co-Captian of the Aerobatic Team hoping to win another collegiate championship in the 2022 season. Currently I am an Instrument Rated Pilot working toward my Commercial at Aspen Flying Club located at KAPA. Both my parents work for the corporate side of the airlines which ultimately showed me that my comfort place is in the sky flying.  Being able to work towards such a rewarding career is such a dream come true for me. A goal for me is to one day in the nearer future work for a major airline and show future female pilots that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to! Outside of flying some of my favorite hobbies include scuba diving (land and sea nothing in between), reading, hanging out with friends and my Great Pyrenees Cosmo.
